First Announcement

The Scientific Committee is accepting abstracts (250 – 300 words) that are related to the conference track themes.

Deadline for submission of abstracts:

The Organizing Committee of the New Generation University Conference 2010 invites you to submit papers for oral presentation or poster presentations. Each accepted paper will be allotted 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion (total 20 minutes). Each accepted poster will be assigned to a poster session and allotted a poster board space.  Assistance will be provided to put up the posters.

Guidelines for submission of abstracts

• All submitted abstracts must be written in English
• The length of each abstract should be 250-300 words, 12 point Arial font, single space justified
• Each submission must include a title, full name and professional affiliation of author(s), mailing address, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail address with the presenting author’s name highlighted in ‘BOLD’
• Abstracts must be submitted electronically (via e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by 15 September 2010)
• Abstracts will be blind reviewed by experts in different disciplines
• Authors will be notified of acceptance of the presentation/abstracts by 15 October 2010
• Please note that submission of an abstract entails a commitment to attend and present the paper should the abstract be accepted

Publication of Proceedings

Participants have the choice of sending only an abstract or an abstract and full paper. Both abstract and full papers will be double-blind peer reviewed. All abstracts will appear in a book of abstracts. All full papers will appear in the official Conference Proceedings, subject to recommendations of the reviewers.  The official proceedings will have an assigned ISBN number. If you have sent an abstract only, and this has been accepted, then you may then subsequently send your full paper to be published in the proceedings, by 12 November 2010.
